At Telum Media, we take your security seriously. Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of protection to your account, helping to keep your information safe.
MFA is mandatory for all Telum Media client account holders. Below is a guide to setting it up in a few simple steps.
What you’ll need
Before you begin, make sure you have a device that allows you to install an Authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).
Initial set-up
Go to the Telum Media login page
Log in as usual
Step 1 of the on-screen instructions: if you don't already have one, install an Authenticator app on your device. In the Authenticator app, tap 'Add account' (or +).
Click 'I HAVE AN APP INSTALLED'
Step 2 of the on-screen instructions: use your Authenticator app to scan the QR code on the page. A 6-digit code will appear; enter it in the box (see below).
Click 'VERIFY AND ENABLE'
Your MFA is now set up!
Next time you log in to your Telum Media account, you will be asked to provide the 6-digit code from your Authenticator app.
FAQs
How do I install an Authenticator app?
See detailed instructions for your device type below:
What should I do if the QR code doesn't work?
The Authenticator app offers an alternative by allowing you to enter a code manually. You can find this manual code below the QR code in Step 2 of 2 of the MFA process.
My verification code keeps being rejected. What can I do?
Here are some possible solutions:
Use the latest 6-digit code: codes refresh every 30 seconds. Wait for a new code and try again.
Check your phone time: the time zone on your phone and the device you’re logging in from must match.
Re-scan the QR code: if you have refreshed the page, go back to the top and scan the new QR code.
What should I do if I’m stuck in a login loop?
Use this direct logout link to end all active sessions: https://www.telummedia.com/logout
Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try a different browser or device.
Do I have to authenticate every time I log into Telum Media?
If you regularly log in to your Telum Media account on a device you trust, you can choose 'I'm on a trusted device' when you next log in. This means you won't need to enter a 6-digit code each time you log in, only once every 60 days.
Note: using a different browser on a trusted device will prompt you to authenticate.
